Annual Havens Hospices Big Essex Corporate Quiz
Clouders were invited to take a table at the annual Havens Hospices Big Essex Corporate Quiz which was held at Hamptons Sport & Social Club in Chelmsford on Thursday 15th March. Over 300 people attended with 39 corporate teams of up to 8 people, per table. The questions ranged from the usual sport and music categories to identifying celebrities from photographs of only their eyes. At the halfway point, the quiz was paused so that everyone could enjoy their lasagne or curry, and we were pleasantly surprised to find that Clouders were in 6th place. With 50 points available in the second half, half of the teams in the room still had a chance to win the trophy, as the scores were that close.
At the end of the evening, Clouders finished in 8th place on 69 ½ points, only 5 ½ points behind the winning team.
Our thanks go out to Little Havens for organising an excellent & enjoyable evening and they are hoping the night will raise lots more funds to help them continue making every day count for those with life limiting illnesses, and their families.
